Humanity needs water for survival, which is why the Presidential Water Commission provides information about how water is circulated and used and in different environments, as well as the value of future water resources.
Pursuant to Article 27 of the Framework Act on Water Management, the Minister of Environment, through cooperation with heads of central government agencies and chairmen of river basin management commissions, designs and implements a Master Plan for National Water Management, Korea's preeminent water management plan addressing water volumes, quality, and disasters, every 10 years with the approval of the Presidential Water Commission.
