Water Industry

• As of 2019, the Korean water industry comprised about 17,000 companies with about 190,000 workers. The total revenue was around KRW 46.2 trillion, of which around 3.9% was from export.

  • By business type, manufacturing accounted for the largest proportion of water industry revenue at KRW 25.7 trillion (55.6%), followed by construction at KRW 12.6 trillion (27.2%)
